Lisa A. Dunner Named As One of the World’s Top 250 Women in IP

Washington, D.C. — Lisa A. Dunner has been named as one of the leading women in intellectual property law, and the 2016 edition of Managing Intellectual Property lists her as an IP Star and one of the world’s top 250 women in IP.
The research process for the list spans four months during which extensive interviews and surveys are taken from in-house counsel and lawyers around the globe. Only those that received high accolades make the final cut.
Ms. Dunner is immediate past chair of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA IPL) and founder of Dunner Law PLLC, a boutique law firm located in Washington, D.C. Dunner Law is certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Ms. Dunner focuses her practice on strategic counseling and enforcement related to a wide variety of trademark, unfair competition, false advertising, copyright, e-commerce and transactional matters. She has testified before the U.S. Congress House of Representatives, Committee on the Judiciary, regarding the U.S. Copyright Office, its function and resources, and she has spoken and written on numerous occasions on trademark and copyright-related issues. Ms. Dunner is currently an ABA IPL Officer, Founding Editor-in-Chief of the ABA IPL’s flagship IP magazine, Landslide,and founder of the ABA IPL Women In IP Action Group. In her pre-law life, Ms. Dunner was a touring professional tennis player.
